International Youth Day 2025 : Local Youth Actions for the SDGs and Beyond

Kwe Trust proudly participated in the 20th edition of the Mr. & Ms. Kibera Leadership Contest hosted by Amani Kibera.

With over 1,000 youth participants — including urban refugees, youth with disabilities, and homeless youth — the event went Beyond the Crown to amplify youth voices in peacebuilding, gender equality, innovation, climate action, and leadership.

Together, we celebrated young changemakers who are not just the leaders of tomorrow, but the force for transformation today.

16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence -2024

At Kwe Trust, we stand committed to ending violence against women and girls. In support of this year’s 16 Days of Activism, we proudly partnered with the Kibera Gender Advocacy Network (KGAN) to make a meaningful impact during the Community Awareness Walk to End Violence Against Women and Girls held on November 25, 2024. Together with KGAN and other stakeholders, we amplified the message of solidarity and action against gender-based violence. This initiative is a testament to our commitment to fostering safer, more equitable communities for all. We believe that collective action can bring about transformative change, and we are honored to have joined hands with KGAN and other partners for this important cause. Let us all Come Together and Act Now to build a future free of violence and filled with hope.
